Entry Technique 03 · Liquidity Sweep and Wick Rejection
Body
This method treats a move that briefly pushes past the prior high or low, leaves a long wick, and comes back inside the range as an entry candidate. It deals with the flow that pushes back after passing through the area where stop losses are clustered.
Whether the body closed above the reference line is the key point.
- Check whether the wick actually went past the prior high or low.
- Look at whether the body closed inside the reference line.
- Check whether the candles that follow the return support the direction.
- The stop loss goes outside the tip of the wick.
Weakness · In the stretch where the trend genuinely turns, price keeps pressing on with no push back. A long wick widens the stop loss distance and shrinks the size, and until the candle completes you cannot know whether it is a wick.
